Recommendations

I get asked all the time about things I recommend so I thought I would share with you the things I use or have used that have helped me along the way. I hope these links can help you too. Cheers!

Kitchen

For the smoothie and soup makers, I can’t say enough good things about the Vitamix 1363 CIA Professional Series, Platinum. Here’s a recipe I use for avocado shakes. Plus, it makes steaming hot soup in under 8 minutes from whole veggies!

Design

If you are looking for hosting for your new website or blog, I recommend Blue Host.

I love Moo for business cards. I’m a designer so I design my own and I also design for other people. If you don’t have the money for a custom designed card but still want a great looking and great feeling card (yes paper matters too) order from Moo. Here’s a discount link on your first order.

Books / Courses

Do you have a nomadic soul or yearning to travel more than you do? Check out this guide by Amy Scott: Destination: Nomadtopia: Discover the Ideal Lifestyle for Your Nomadic Soul

Not into signing up for e-courses but still want to learn more about seeking work your passionate about. Here’s a link to a great book, The Alchemist

One of my all time favorite books as a recovering perfectionist: The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You’re Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are. I think this is a book I could read every year. Another amazing book from Brene Brown that I love is: Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead

Creating the life you want based on the feelings you like to feel on a daily and yearly basis: The Desire Map: A Guide to Creating Goals with Soul. I feel this is good for both men and women. We need to get back in touch with what our heart wants, not our minds. Create your goals with soul with the help of Danielle LaPorte.
